* Marie Noëlle DE LA POYPE (born in 1949) - Lot 14
* Marie Noëlle DE LA POYPE (born in 1949) Untitled Relief panel in crushed-straw polycarbonate Monogrammed MNP, dated 02, and numbered 18/300 in the lower left corner 171 x 46 cm The countess works equally with organic materials—such as marine bones (sculptures, jewelry) that have a totemic quality—and industrial materials, and for good reason: she is the wife of the Count de la Poype, inventor of the Mehari and founder of Marineland. She works in her studio, drawing inspiration from the polycarbonate used in the Mehari, and creates sculptures using this material. A Belgian, she was a former elite athlete and holds a doctorate in law. She exhibits worldwide, in Asia, Monaco, and the United States.
