- During his three seasons at North Carolina, Jordan was twice named to the best NCAA first team (1983 and 1984). After winning the Naismith Award and the Wooden Award for best college basketball player, Jordan entered the 1984 draft. The rest is history, with his move to the Chicago Bulls, a club with which he enjoyed the best of times both individually and collectively.
