Keschan carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), central Persia, circa 1940-1980. The carpet features a polychrome central rosette, extended by two pendants on a red background enhanced by an elegant stylized floral design and navy blue counter-ground. A wide navy blue border with flower garland is framed by two ivory counterborders. 300 x 200 cm (Slight wear).
