Keschan or Kachan rug, (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), central Persia, circa 1940-1980. The rug is decorated with a suite of two large polychrome flower vases on a navy blue background, set against an ivory background forming spandrels. A wide red border with stylized floral decoration surrounds the composition. 210 x 130 cm (Slight wear and fraying).
