Book format 19x13 cm, 253 pages, dedicated by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - Saint Exupéry joins the prestigious 2/33 group, in which he served in 1939-1940, then based in Alghero, Sardinia. On July 17, the 2/33 moved to Borgo, not far from Bastia in Corsica. Saint Exupery flew several missions with the F-5B-1-LO, a twin-engine P-38 Lightning in aerial reconnaissance version, before disappearing on July 31, 1944.
