MULLER FRERES - LUNEVILLE - Lot 81
MULLER FRERES - LUNEVILLE "Les Arbres" glassware series in the Impressionist style A rare and interesting ovoid vase; the neck strangled and then treated on four sides. The trees in the foreground are treated in rich polychrome iridescence, while the gray-white background is shaded with purple towards the base and repeats the tree theme in the manner of a violet grisaille. Circa 1920. Signed MULLER Fres Lunéville, in reserve acid-etched cameo towards the base. H. 16.5 cm (Firing defect on the neck).
