Beautiful Directoire portico clock in white and Turquin blue marble, adorned with ormolu ornamentation of tassels, floral crown, ribbon and pearl friezes, the uprights resting on claw feet, the whole surmounted by phoenix heads ending in floral scrolls and a vase of flowers. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals signed Caron. Legs resting on toupee-shaped feet with applied foliage motifs. Wire movement. 57 x 36 cm (Missing, worn).
