Villefranche Enchères Riviera is applying the VAT reform to the art market, which came into force on January 1, 2025.

The winning bidder will pay the auctioneer, per lot, in addition to the hammer price, a fixed fee of 25% including VAT, with reduced VAT of 5.5% applied to the fee and hammer price for antique jewelry; the reform does not apply to modern jewelry.

Exhibition the day before on February 12, from 9.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm, or by appointment.
